Peace Be Still Calming Essential Oil Blend for a Simple Evening
There are some evenings when your body is tired, but your mind simply will not slow down, and that is often when a calming essential oil blend can make all the difference.
The house may finally be quiet, the day is done, and yet your thoughts keep moving from one thing to the next. If you have ever found yourself in that place, you know how hard it can be to truly rest.
That is exactly what led me to create the Peace Be Still essential oil blend, a simple calming essential oil blend designed for quiet evenings like these.
This blend is simple, gentle, and easy to use in everyday life. It is not meant to be complicated or overwhelming. It is just a small way to help shift the atmosphere of your home and create a space where your mind and body can begin to settle.
The name Peace Be Still comes from a moment in Scripture that has always stood out to me:
“Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” – Mark 4:39
I love the reminder that Jesus didn’t just calm the storm around them, He spoke peace into it. And sometimes, that’s exactly what we need in our own homes and hearts.
In this post, I am sharing three simple ways to use this blend: in a diffuser, as a roller, and as a room spray.
Peace Be Still Calming Essential Oil Blend Diffuser
Add the following oils to your diffuser with water according to your diffuser’s instructions:
4 drops lavender
2 drops chamomile
Allow the diffuser to run for 30–60 minutes while you wind down for the evening, read, or simply sit in a quiet moment.

Peace Be Still Calming Essential Oil Blend Roller
For a 10 ml roller bottle:
6 drops lavender
4 drops chamomile
Fill the remainder of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil and replace the roller top. Gently roll the bottle between your hands to mix.
Apply to wrists, the back of the neck, or the bottoms of the feet as part of your evening routine.
Peace Be Still Calming Essential Oil Blend Room Spray
For a 4 oz amber spray bottle:
1 oz witch hazel
8 drops lavender
4 drops chamomile
Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Shake well before each use and lightly mist around the room, on linens, or into the air.

Creating a Simple Evening Rhythm
Sometimes the most meaningful routines are the simplest ones.
Turning on a diffuser while you finish up the evening, applying a roller blend before bed, or lightly misting a room can help signal to your body that it is time to slow down.
These small rhythms do not have to be perfect or consistent to be meaningful. Even a few quiet minutes can help bring a sense of calm back into your home.
If you are new to blending or want to better understand how to safely mix oils for rollers and sprays, I highly recommend starting with my essential oil dilution guide here on the blog. It will walk you through exactly how to dilute oils safely and confidently for everyday use.
