Place chicken breast i bottom of crockpot/instant pot. Pour chicken broth on top.
Add garlic powder onion powder, and salt & pepper to taste.
For crockpot, cook on low 6-8 hours. Remove chicken and shred.
For Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 30 minutes. Once finished let natural release for 10 minutes. Release steam after 10 minutes has passed. Remove chicken and shred.
