Instructions
Place the butter in a 10-12 oz coffee mug and melt it in the microwave.
Add the almond flour, baking powder, Swerve Brown, and vanilla extract to the melted butter, mixing well.
Add the egg last, stirring until the mixture is smooth.
Sprinkle the sugar-free chocolate chips on top of the batter.
Microwave for approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds. (Microwave times may vary; adjust as needed.)
Carefully remove the mug from the microwave as it will be hot.
Add your choice of toppings, such as sugar-free whipped topping or sugar-free caramel.
Notes
This mug cake doesn’t have the typical almond flour taste, making it a hit even for those who are not fans of almond flour-based desserts.
For the best results, use Blue Diamond Almond Flour, which is fine and budget-friendly.
