Motherhood is beautiful… and exhausting. From ministry moments to middle-of-the-night wakeups, many of us are running on grace and cold coffee. That’s exactly why I created the Happy Juice blend—a calming, hormone-supporting essential oil gift set for moms (and for myself!) that’s become a small but mighty part of my routine. Whether you’re deep in the toddler years, juggling teenagers, or navigating perimenopause (hello, surprise hot flashes), this blend was made with you in mind.

And because Mother’s Day is around the corner—or maybe already here by the time you’re reading this—I wanted to share how I turned this simple blend into a full DIY gift set using things I already had at home and in my Simply Earth subscription boxes. It’s part self-care, part celebration, and 100% grace-filled.

Why This Essential Oil Gift Set Matters

A few years ago, in the middle of an overwhelming season, I blended together four oils that helped me feel more grounded and emotionally steady. When my husband saw the change, he labeled the bottle “Happy Juice.” And you know what? It stuck.

This blend has helped me recognize when it’s time to slow down. Whether it’s taking a long bath after dinner or locking myself in the bathroom for a 3-minute diffuser reset, I use Happy Juice to remind myself that rest isn’t selfish—it’s biblical.

What’s in This Essential Oil Gift Set?

This hormone-supporting blend is made with four essential oils, each chosen for its emotional and physical benefits:

  • Clary Sage – Known for hormone-balancing properties and emotional grounding.
  • Lavender – Calming, relaxing, and perfect for easing anxious thoughts.
  • Ylang Ylang – Uplifting and known to reduce cortisol levels.
  • Frankincense – Deeply grounding, supportive of overall wellness and spiritual connection.

Diffuser Blend Recipe

Use this anytime you need a moment of peace:

  • 4 drops Clary Sage
  • 3 drops Lavender
  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang
  • 2 drops Frankincense

Add to your diffuser with water and enjoy 10–15 minutes of calm.

How to Use Your Essential Oil Gift Set Safely

  • Roller Bottle: Use 2 drops each of Clary Sage and Lavender, 1 drop Ylang Ylang and Frankincense in a 10ml roller bottle. Top with carrier oil.
  • Bath Soak: Blend oils into coconut oil before adding to salts. Always mix essential oils with a carrier!
  • Face Use: Frankincense is gentle, but always patch test new oils. Use only 1–2 drops per tablespoon of facial oil.

Always use essential oils with care, especially when pregnant or nursing. Consult with your healthcare provider when in doubt.
